The love letter

You are the one I want to hold and never let go!”

My Beloved

I’m in it for the long haul
It’s not going to be easy but I pledge my allegiance to you for as long as it takes
It was love at first sight
You are fearfully and wonderfully made

You have been carried by me from your birth
And you have been carried in My arms from the womb,
And even to your advanced old age I will still carry you!
Be assured I will carry you and I will save you (the poet of footprints in the sand can attest to that!)

You’ll smile—big smiles!
Your heart will swell and, yes, burst!
I will love you just the way you are, Don’t worry about changing! My type of love is perfecting love!
I will accept you with your baggage
I will spend time with you so long as you avail yourself
I will not lie nor cheat on you

I will appreciate your intelligence and be proud of your accomplishments I will go places with you and introduce you to prominent people who will be dazzled by your radiance & sunburst brightness.
You’ll get a brand-new name straight from my mouth!
Because you are valuable in my eyes, I will love you and honor you
I will promote you and show you off and do a tawdry display with you because you are worth it!
You’ll be a stunning crown in my palm of my hand, a jeweled gold cup held high in my hand for all to see!

I have chased you down and fought for you till I found you
I even left ninety-nine behind just to be with you because you are that precious to me
I don’t care about your wretched past and the baggage and weight you have carried all this while
Hitherto, no more will anyone call you Rejected, and your alias will no more be called Ruined.
You’ll be called “My Delight” because I delight in you
As a bridegroom is happy in his bride, so will I be happy with you.

I will rejoice over you with joy;
I will make no mention of your past
The accumulated sorrows of your past will dissipate.
I will get rid of them for you.
You’ve carried those burdens long enough.
I saw you spending sleepless nights hopping from bed to bed but, with me, the itinerant pattern has come to an end You will have perfect sleep and perfect peace

You won’t have to be second-guessing anymore
At the same time, I’ll make you forget all those who’ve made your life miserable.
I’ll heal you where you have been maimed
I’m a jealous lover and sharing is not my forte
I will give you undivided attention and will engulf you with love
I will be your provider and I’m a Man of my word
Whatever you want, name it I will provide
The secret is in asking
What’s mine is yours!

I will protect you
from killing spiders to slaying giants for you
I’m not a violent person but I’m just excessively protective over what’s mine
I will contend with your enemies
I vow to be your strength, your shield, your stronghold, and place of refuge!

Whenever you need me, I’m a call away
don’t worry about failing to get hold of me
My phone will never run out of battery
My service provider provides the best network which never jams
It will never be a cross-line nor give you an engaged tone nor go on voicemail
If you decide to send a message I will not blue tick it
I will drop everything for you I will never be too busy for you!

I love you

God

    1. So many times we go looking for love in the wrong places and we end up getting hurt and our expectations aren’t met and yet we have it all in Christ the love we yearn for and have always wanted !Started feeling his love all around me once I established that kind of relationship with my maker and it’s such a great feeling, I want everyone to feel it too☺
