2Corinthians 5:8
The hooded Grim Reaper with a scythe in his hand finds its sustenance amongst the living
Slithering in the grass like a snake, looping sideways
Looking for its next prey to subdue
Very vicious and unforgiving
Actively stalking, pursuing them until their capture, relying on the mastery of waiting, time being its ally,
Uses camouflage techniques as a veneer making sure he is well-hidden and obscure to avoid detection
Engulfing its prey, claws deeply sunk until the last breath, the prey is finally vanquished
The cessation of life marks the end of one’s existence as an entity independent from their familiar territory, returning to an inert, nonliving state.
Invoking pain and anguish to the remnant
We are left with holes punched inside our hearts,
They say time heals but I’m not sure if time can be trusted as it also works in cahoots with the Grim Reaper looking for its next prey
Very deep thoughts. But death does not leave the Believer in Christ in a non-living state. John 3:16

My condolences. It is profoundly sorrowful to lose a loved one to death. Love, which remains, must find new ways of expression. Ever loved, ever eternal.

Weeping lasts for a night, but joy comes with the morning. Death is not the final victor, Jesus is. Peace and comfort to you.
