Hi guys, I have been away for so long and I missed all of you but I am back now. I will tell you what I was up to some other day, but ,for now, I’m just here to encourage someone.
The problem why some of us start to question God or doubt His supremacy is that we liken Him to man. We tend to forget who God is and His nature and what He is capable of because we have spent so much time with man and have channeled most of our time in studying them and have come to a conclusion that men are unreliable.
Correct.
But now that we have trust issues with God is He also in the same category as a man?
The last time I dialed up the number of my go-to person when I was at my worst they didn’t pick up. The other time they asked for my caller identity even when they recognized my voice. I mean like they were familiar with it for the past decade and all of a sudden they couldn’t tell it was me…the next time they told me they were busy and they said they would call back. .well, I waited the whole day for their call..the next day. the next weekend up to now they never called back.
We could wait on experts and scientists to come up with a vaccine, for politicians to turn around the nation’s economy and we don’t know how long that might take.
And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and he will pursue them. But I will gain glory for myself through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD.” So the Israelites did this. Ex14:4
Have you ever thought about why God allows some situations to remain the way they are, He allows some people to act so cold towards us when we at least expect them to stand by us. From the portion of scripture I quoted above I think It happens so that we know that He is God and give Him the glory because, afterall, all the glory belongs to Him lest we end up glorifying or giving credit to man.
Pharaoh’s heart was so hardened, he made ready his chariots. The Egyptians gave chase and caught up with the Israelites. They must have been terrified and scared as they looked up and saw them charging towards them!
My bible says, “They were totally afraid, They cried out in terror to God. Chariots were effective for their high speed, mobility, and strength.
13 Moses spoke to the people: “Don’t be afraid. Stand firm and watch God do his work of salvation for you today. Take a good look at the Egyptians today for you’re never going to see them again.
14 God will fight the battle for you.
In these unprecedented times, where the perilous pestilence seems to be defeating us in our numbers, I liken it to Pharaoh and his army closing in on us, doing a cow horn formation on us as if about to engulf us and annihilate us. Not that I’m giving the virus credit, but ever since it infiltrated planet earth , now the virus is in a stubborn pursuit after the rich, the poor, black, white, mixed race , I mean everyone!
It may sound crazy but I hear God saying,
I’ll use “The Rona” to put my Glory on display so that humanity will realize that I am God.”
19The angel of God that had been leading the camp of Israel now shifted and got behind them. And the Pillar of Cloud that had been in front also shifted to the rear.
God looked down from the Pillar of Fire and Cloud on the Egyptian army and threw them into a panic. The wheels of the chariot came off, some were clogged and got stuck in the mud.
The Egyptians said, “Run from Israel! God is fighting on their side and against Egypt!”
It is kind of difficult to keep the faith now, But I want to help us declare victory over these uncertain times. God will fight for us and He will see us through. May you also walk right through the middle of the sea and these ravaging waters, on dry ground. May the waters form a wall to the right and left for us. God will deliver us from this pandemic. The Egyptians strongly relied on their army and polished fleet of chariots. They gave us a lesson and proved to us that it doesn’t work relying on all of that. Even the strongest well-trained army failed but fortunately for us, who trust in the name of God , we are His Garlands. His name is a strong tower and we will run to it.
The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe -Proverbs 18;10
Our security is not in the Health Ministers, our security is not in our networth, our security is not in our networks. We need eternal security which is in Christ Jesus. After all, this has passed, may we realize the tremendous power that God will bring against this virus.
Trust in God and Him alone.
He will never let us down.
In the waiting for a cureIn the searching for answers In the confusion and uncertainty In the pain of losing our loved ones Behind the masks In the healing He is still there even in the corona pandemic!
A true sad story
What appals me most is being given a pat on the back to keep on going by the same people conspiring my downfallWhat makes me cringe is receiving congratulatory messages from the same people cursing my happinessI’m disillusioned by being detested by ones we look up to who claim to love us immeasurably What baffles me…
It’s all about family…
When everything has lost its meaning, the meaning of family and what it stands for remains the same. Family is the strongest unit in one’s life and it does not matter what kind of family one belongs to. Families teach us to care, love unconditionally, communicate effectively and to accept people as they are. You…

Thanks for the encouragement. It just came in the nick of time. I just lost my uncle who has been a dear friend to me. I was on my way to visit him when I got a message that he was no more. I was devastated. Thanks for your post. It has really encouraged me.

It’s good to have you back. And certainly it’s a worthy thing to step away and do other things. 😉 Your ‘Keep Going’ piece, really hit me one morning, when I was having trouble with a friend, and it reminded me that God, does in fact, work in mysterious ways – but in the end, he’s always there for you. Thank you and good luck this season!
